The Role To be successful as a Logistics Associate, you should be able to maintain shipment records in databases and ensure that shipments are delivered according to schedule, and have a strong understanding of the import processes into Mexico and the United States. Ultimately, Logistics Associate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage the flow of inbound and outbound goods with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Work with 3PL service provider (s) and internal/external vendors to coordinate and track logistics activities for timely/qualitative delivery. Maintain records of all invoices and transactions. Manage HTS classifications for U.S. and other destination countries. Preparing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring receipt of deliveries. Monitoring inventory levels through the proper database. Developing, communicating, and following up on shipment schedules daily. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and logistics partners to schedule pickups, prepare shipping documents, and providing shipping status for both inbound and outbound shipments. Assisting customers and resolving shipment issues and complaints. Preparing and maintaining shipment paperwork, records, and digital databases, including delivery location, ETD/ETA, tracking info, qty, etc.) Manage and support internal reporting requirements. Performing additional duties as needed. Requirements High School Diploma or GED with at least three years of experience in Logistics Management or a related role Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred Knowledge and understanding of domestic freight and international freight, including shipping and receiving Automotive experience a plus Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred Proficiency in FedEx, UPS, DHL, shipping portals Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Customer service skills Strong attention to detail Able to initiate and drive prioritization to meet required deadline/s Benefits Xos, Inc. is committed to offering competitive wages.
