Distribution Clerk Purchasing Department-Valley PresbyterianEmployment Status: Per Diem Job Category: Facilities & Hospitality JOB SUMMARY: Provide clinical floors with supplies.

Performs computer centered data processing, clerical and ordering functions of the stock area, including par level.

Handles patient charges, accounting functions, and reports as necessary.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Good organizational skills with attention to detail Good customer service experience Diplomacy, tact and a customer-oriented attitude are required Excellent oral and written communication skills required Ability to handle high periods of stress and successfully multi-task required EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent LICENSURES/CERTIFICATION: Must successfully complete and maintain LA City Fire Card certification at the time of hire or within the first 30 days of employment DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ( These are the essential job functions for this position.
