As Junior/Senior Logistics Operation Analyst (part of our pivotal Supply Chain team), facilitates and coordinates with logistics carriers and customs brokers regarding all aspects of inbound transport service of international air and ocean freight from Asia to US/EU.

Take ownership of the end-to-end flow of goods from suppliers, on water/air transportation till arrival at Port/Drayage to 3PL and Outbound Transfer order from 3PL to FBA Fulfilment Centers/Omnichannel Sales.
Role

Work closely with Asian Supply Chain Team, to understand what the Outbound shipments from Asian suppliers to US/ Europe are
Track and monitor the inbound (Sea/Air) shipment into US/EU and to ensure all the necessary documents CI/PL/BL are received prior to arrival of containers.
Ensure a visibility and traceability of shipment from Asian suppliers are tracked, monitored through reports to engage drayage to 3PL warehouses.
Work with Custom Brokers/Freight Forwarders to ensure containers are cleared on time.

Close monitoring on the inbound of containers into 3PL are executed timely, and accurately
Weekly/monthly meeting with 3PL to understand what the operational issues/problems in terms of timely update are of received containers into warehouse, accuracy of inventory, reporting to follow up performance of 3PL
Monitor replenishment of orders to FBA Fulfilment Centers.

Create Outbound Transfer orders at 3PL system/ or communicate such request to 3PL.
Regular/weekly meeting on the Outbound Orders from 3PL to FBA FC.

Track the turn around time of 3PL for outbound orders
Track the timely execution of Trucking companies to make delivery appointment to FBA Fulfilment centers and to ensure completion of delivery at FBA
From time to time, assist to source/qualify for new 3PL service providers for management selection in accordance with business expansion needs.

RFP/RFQ/obtain quotes.
Review the Agreements with Logistics Service Providers/ Enforce SLA.

Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming shipments and on-time/ delivery performance.
Monthly Invoices checking and reconciliation with 3PL/FF.
Identify trends and best practices and be sensitive to the economical/political/climate changes impact on a timeless and cost-effective logistics operation.

Prepare monthly reports on the logistics environment /market conditions on different logistics cost for management decision on transportation strategy.
Documenting SOP and drive for ISO certification and identify areas for continuous improvement
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management, Business, a related field, and at least more than 2 years of Warehouse / Logistics experience in distribution environment, or in eCommerce fulfillment.

Experience in retail industry would be an advantage.
Experience in eCommerce space Fulfilment or managing the shipment from Asian suppliers for worldwide operations as well as delivery to Online Platform Retailers is highly desirable.
At least 2 years of experience in managing 3PL and working with Freight Forwarders.
Comprehensive knowledge on end-to-end flow of physical goods and documents required to move the goods from one end to another, which is not limited to customs clearance, shipping documents, trade regulations and compliance in US/EU

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
Command knowledge of various systems (Warehouse Management System, Order Management System) would be of advantage.
Extensive knowledge of receipt, storage, retrieval, order processing and shipping and transportation shipping methods; inclusive of eCommerce fulfillment practices would be an advantage
