Job Description Job Description Warehouse Sanitation Worker Job Requirements: This position utilizes various electric or manual equipment to maintain warehouse cleanliness, aisles, rack, and warehouse slotting areas in a safe, clean sanitary work environment to company standards with various cleaning equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:
· Warehouse aisle/ slotting area maintenance
· Use electric or manual pallet truck to relocate product in warehouse while cleaning product slots.

· Move all refuse to designated trash pick-up areas
· Remove damage and stray product out of aisles to appropriate area
· Tape cases or make product saleable
· Remove product from under and behind pallets
· Clean trailers, remove debris and dirt from trailer floors.

· Inspect, clean and report pest control activity to Supervisor.

Occasional Work Performed:
· Inside the warehouse and outside area
· Uses chemicals to clean and disinfect the warehouse concrete floors
· Cleaning of overhead fans, walls, and evaporators.

· Operate scrubber/sweeper for cleaning Working Conditions:
· Indoor/ outdoor work in all temperatures and weather conditions.

· Extensive standing/ walking on concrete.

Safety Responsibility: This position assumes responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for the safety conditions of the work location, exercises and promotes safe behaviors and shows unyielding support of programs, rules and policies regarding safety.

Education and Experience:
· Must be 18 years of age or older with High School Diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse, or relevant work experience
· Sanitation in a food or manufacturing facility preferred
· Able to work in a fast paced and professional work environment
· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs during shift and to walk up to 4 miles per shift on concrete.

· Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
· Ability to train in safe and proper operation of equipment needed to perform job duties.

· Must meet minimum requirements on pre-employment testing including a background check, physical exam and drug test.

· Very good organizational skills
· Ability to think logically and work safety at all times
· Understand written procedures Compensation and Benefits:
· Full Time – Day Shift Non-Exempt/Hourly-Depending on experience Pay Range $16.00 to $18.00 DOE
