Data Entry Clerk

Barkerross is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. In this important role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in our systems, ensuring information integrity and accessibility. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a key part in helping our organization manage and utilize its data effectively. You will be expected to work with various databases and spreadsheets, while collaborating closely with other team members to support data-related projects. Responsibilities

  • Input and update data in computer systems and databases
  • Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness
  • Correct any discrepancies or errors in data
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Generate reports as needed for management review
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining records and files
  • Collaborate with team members to support data-related projects

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role
  • Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Familiarity with office software, including spreadsheets and databases
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify errors
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
