– Data Entry ClerkStatus: Non-exemptReports To: Accounting ManagerSummary of Position: The Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk will process and post charges made to the company credit cards.

This position requires heavy use of Excel to track charges, receipt submission, and expense accounts.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions: (Other duties may be assigned) Data Entry Ensure receipts for all charges are received according to procedures Routing of receipts for approval if necessary Review receipts for items purchased Communicate with managers regarding purchasing Post purchases to correct general ledger expense accounts and to the correct jobs Assist with other accounts payable tasks as needed File and archives documents Other duties as assignedMinimum Experience/Qualifications: Possess a strong work ethic Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures Understanding of job costing and project accounting Commitment to a work schedule Experience with Office suite (advanced experience with Excel is a must) Self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with individuals at all levels Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills Extremely organized with strong attention to detail Able to work independently and as part of a team Work well under tight deadlines Capable of multitaskingMinimum Experience/Qualifications: (continued) 18 years of age or older Must be able to pass a drug test Must be able to pass a background checkPhysical Demands: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
