Robert Half has an outstanding opportunity for a long-term contract / temporary to hire Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a premier company. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Excellent communication, written and verbal are a must, as well as building relationships with vendors and other departments. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Burbank, California area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. Your responsibilities
– Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
– Execute full-cycle A/P
– Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
– Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
– Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
– Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
– Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
– Carry out additional tasks as assigned
– Provide customer service to internal business partners
Job Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
– Strong attention to detail
– Accounts Payable (AP) experience
– Microsoft Excel experience required
– Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
– AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
