Absorption Systems: Research Associate Bioanalytical

The Research Associate, Bioanalytical will provide support for bioanalytical quantitative analysis of test compounds in biological matrices obtained from a variety of studies including preclinical safety evaluations and pharmacokinetic evaluations.

Focus on small molecule analysis using LC-MS/MS in support of drug discovery and early development programs.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceipt, inventory, and storage of samples, reference and test articles, following the study protocol.Sample preparation from biological matrices, tissue homogenization, sample extraction techniques, and data acquisition.Reagent preparation and tracking.Assist in experiments using LC-MS/MS following the SOPs, methods and study protocols.Perform duties in a timely manner to achieve study timelines.Perform other duties as directed by Management.Candidate Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related discipline.0-1 Year relevant industry experience in a pharmaceutical field.Detail-oriented, comfortable working with large data setsHands-on experience in laboratory setting is required.Microsoft Office skills to include: Excel, Word and Power PointBioanalytical experience, LC-MS/MS and other analytical techniques is a Plus.Basic knowledge of pharmacokinetics (PK) and in vivo study design is a Plus.Position requires good communication skills and attention to detail.Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to adapt in a dynamic team environment are keys for success.The position is hourly and will report to the Head of the Bioanalytical DepartmentBenefitsAbsorption Systems cares about our work community and offers a variety of benefits allowing employees the opportunity to customize a comprehensive benefits package that meets their personal needs.About Absorption Systems, a Pharmaron CompanyAbsorption Systems, founded in 1996, assists pharmaceutical and medical device companies in identifying and overcoming ADMET (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion and Toxicity) barriers in the development of drugs, biologics and medical devices.
