WEB DEVELOPER – AWS NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ No C2C Hybrid model Required Skills: 3 years of experience with the following: AWS experience.
Application Development.
SOA and API delivery experience.
Application Design.
Fronted Development.
Java coding.
Familiar with data driven software (this role will help custom build).
Good understanding of DB and interactions with web tools (Oracle 8-9i).
Good understanding of http request life cycle.
Proficient in HTML, JAVA Script, CSS, AJAX.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented design and programming methodologies.
Experience with version control applications and build process (Visual Source Safe).
Experience with Web Services.
Experience with multi-tiered architectures.
J2EE (1.3 /1.4).
An understanding of and experience with full software development lifecycle including functional & technical specification, development on object-oriented design, documentation, QA processes, source control, maint & deployment.
Understanding of application architecture.
Expertise involving increasingly complex Web-based appl solutions in an n-tier environment.
Requires expertise in applicable and various development technologies such as .NET, J2EE, etc.
Experience with platforms such as Windows and Unix/Linux and Weblogic or Websphere a must as well as significant experience in Web infrastructure design and implementation.
Prior programmer/analyst experience and thorough knowledge of SDLC & common development methodologies.
Siteminder / LDAP integration, jUnit & Ant experience (Nice to have).
Project Description: Create applications from detailed specifications using specified programming language(s).
Code, test, debug, document and maintain progs.
Analyze appl requirements & recommend appl design.
Create detailed project outlines and application design specifications.
Quality reviews of code developed by other staff.
Designs for more complex integration with other applications/technologies.
Responsible for leading a team of developers and managing to project timelines/deliverables.
Assist Senior developers with project outlines & specs.
Primarily analyzes, designs, develops & supports major Web information systems designs from an enterprise perspective.
Is involved in determining the long-range strategic direction of systems.
Provides appl and admin expertise in multiple areas including server technologies, user interface technologies and infrastructure architectures.
The Senior Developer and/or Dev Lead will typically work with dev team as the senior bus solution resource and provide solution capabilities to the tech team as well as the end user/customer.
This 12 month position starts ASAP.
