Project Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Water Project Manager, full-time to assist a private water company located in the Los Angeles County area to move Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) forward.
The ideal Senior Water Project Manager candidate will have at least 15 years of Project Management experience with public works and/or public utility projects.(br((br(Primary duties of the Senior Water Project Manager include, but are not limited to:(br(* Oversee external resources concerning the completion of the design of designated capital projects(br(* Serve as primary liaison between the company and contractors, consultants, and vendors to develop, manage, and execute external design contracts(br(* Develop and track project budgets, timelines, and quality control activities(br(* Approve consultant and vendor payment requests(br(* Prepare periodic reports for Senior Management on the status of the design of the capital construction program(br(* Ensures that legal, regulatory, and Company standards and regulations are met regarding capital construction design efforts(br(* Coordinates with other Engineering staff and other areas of company on prioritizing and completing externally designed projects(br((br(*Job Requirements*(br((br(* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field(br(* Minimum 15-20 years of management experience with public works and/or public utility projects(br(* Current California Professional Registration (PE) as a Civil Engineer(br(* Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously(br(* Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing(br(* Knowledge of and experience using project management software preferred(br(* Valid CA Driver’s License and a reliable means of transportation(br((br(Job Types: Full-time, Contract(br((br(Pay: $126,000.00
