Opportunity Overview 

Lead TuSimple’ss Hardware Engineering division of 50+ ICs, Managers, and Directors.

Set the strategy, direction, and vision for the Hardware engineering division.

Fully develop and manage all phases of a product from market definition through production and release.

Role Responsibilities
Plan and direct engineering and operations activities to meet the company’s financial, quality, and performance goals.

Provide technical leadership for all product development by directing equipment design and function.

Lead design, development, and integration of Tusimple technology with commercial vehicle chassis using industry-leading hardware and software solutions.

Direct research and technical design for electronic parts, components, and integrated circuitry.

Evaluate the reliability of materials, properties, and techniques used in production.

Experience & Skills Required 
15 years in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years experience at the executive level.

10 years experience in people management.

5 years of experience as a robotics or advanced hardware systems hardware engineer.  2 years experience working in an international, matrixed company, collaborating with teams in multiple international locations.
