You will work across diverse areas that include content distribution, ad sales, and sports production.
You should be able to execute analytics projects and explain and educate the findings to a wide group of stakeholders.
The role is very hands-on and has a strong leadership presence.
You will provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on Advanced Analytics techniques and bring new ideas and approaches to solve problems.
A Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities
• Direct data science projects to solve complex data challenges and opportunities
• Define, build, grow, and lead an exceptional team that delivers novel, strategic data science approaches in diverse and industry-leading skills in deep learning, computer vision, natural language process, personalization, and data engineering and tooling
• Develop operational metrics and KPIs that are meaningful to the business and ensure successful business outcomes
• Develop models that help us deeply understand and describe our consumers in order to drive consumer-focused business growth
• Manage resources to ensure strategic and operational objectives are met
• Own relationships with diverse business stakeholders to understand current and anticipate future customer and business needs, understand requirements and define relevant strategic questions
• Shape research and analytic plans, developing appropriate quantitative methodologies and encouraging quality implementation of end-to-end analytics programs
• Create and deliver impactful presentations for mid-level and senior-level audiences
• Size and scope growth opportunities, which should include a business case, a path to growth, an implementation plan, and stakeholder buy-in

What You Will Need
• 10+ years of experience working in data science and/or advanced analytics with a track record of delivering insights and business impact
• Experience working in a production environment with large data sets and best practice tools (e.g.
cloud architecture, version control, etc.)
• Experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as marketing mix, predictive modeling, multivariate regression analysis and ROI measurement
• Experience solving difficult, non-routine analytical problems with a deep consumer focus, applying advanced analytical methods as needed, including big data analysis (using SQL, R, Python), visualization (Tableau) and digital analytics tools (Looker analytics)
• Experience with a modern Machine Learning framework such as TensorFlow or Torch
• Experience with Machine Learning cloud services on Google, AWS or Azure
• Strong experience and interest in growing and leading teams
• Practical experience with Machine Learning methods, common cloud-based data analysis tools and frameworks (Hadoop, Redshift, SageMaker, Spark, SQL, R, etc.)
• Extensive experience with Machine Learning development in Python
• Practical understanding of building, cleaning and operationalizing data sets
• Expertise with at least one production-quality programming language (e.g.
Java, Python, C++)
• Deep familiarity with very large data sources and best practice research methods and applied statistics, including sampling approaches, causal modeling, time series analysis, and datamining techniques in capturing and predicting consumer sentiment, behavior and feedback
• Demonstrated achievements in solving real-world advanced analytics challenges and managing a complex portfolio and multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving, dynamic and matrixed team and business environment
• Ability to achieve operational excellence by instilling a data-driven mentality across the organization
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
• Excellent communication & presentation skills along with interpersonal and influencing skills (at all levels internally, externally and cross-functionally).

• You have an eye for products where you relentlessly put the customer at the heart of any of your strategic decisions
• You enjoy having a strategic impact at the executive level, including interacting with and influencing other leaders to set business strategy and untangle complex decisions and issues
• You have a deep technical background in applied machine learning, spanning some or all of deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, personalization, human-in-the-loop, etc.
Expertise in content distribution is a plus.
