Support Aegon Asset Management’s development and implementation of investment product offerings for clients located in the Americas, including new product launches, product enhancements and changes/maintenance.
Responsibilities: Launch new funds on existing registered fund platforms, including 40 Act Mutual Funds, CITs and ETFs.
Create and develop new private fund solutions to allow the distribution of strategies Responsible for evaluating and developing new distribution wrappers for existing investment capabilities Subject matter expert on U.S.
vehicles that support new and existing strategy capabilities Responsible for project management of new fund launches for Americas clients Support regulatory and other filing requirement for U.S.
fund platform Product representative with legal and compliance to address new regulatory changes impacting U.S.
fund/wrappers Assist in management of seed capital and recommend appropriate allocation for wrappers supporting Americas clients Responsible for preparation of committee and board material Act as a firm-wide resource for product platform information Serve as a subject matter expert to provide guidance and detailed product information to portfolio managers, marketing, sales, and clients related to due diligence.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience Five years of related experience, including product development and implementation experience.
Experience in in product development/management, operations, and/or new fund launches.
Experience in the product life cycle, from idea generation through implementation.
Understanding of product wrappers (e.g.
private placements, 40 Act registered, collective trusts, ETFs, off-shore funds including UCITS) Understanding of the related U.S.
regulatory regimes.
Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
Quantitative/qualitative problem solving and research skills.
Communication skills for frequent interaction with senior leaders, portfolio managers and distribution staff.
Ability to influence team members and take ownership of projects and execute on strategy.
