Then, come join us on our ambitious endeavor to create extraordinary games.n n Responsibilities n n Start with a player first mentality, embedding an obsessive drive to know, understand, and serve the players who are engaged with the game Be an active participant and driver in the design of gameplay systems Evaluate systems to determine execution plans and propose alternatives if necessary Design and implement gameplay systems Extend the game engine to support the needs of the game vision and design Create super low-latency, highly responsive game systems Manage and mentor the gameplay engineering staff Have a cross platform mindset up front and ensure that the features of the game are capable of supporting an experience that can work seamlessly on different systems and form factors Ensure that gameplay engineering has a Live product mindset, capable of regular updates and malleable to key changes if necessary n n Requirements n n 5+ years of experience in programming/engineering development Strong C/C++ development skills Several shipped titles as Gameplay Engineer Experienced in developing and implementing key gameplay systems An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related area Work well with designers and artists to implement the vision of the game Strong verbal and written communication skills Autonomous, problem-solving, and open-minded attitude n n What is in it for you?
