Includes making appropriate decisions for data cleansing, transformations, and structures.
Responsible for validation of data against source systems and other validated production reports.
Provide some monitoring of data feeds to ensure that production reports have received accurate, up to date data sources Understand and be able to articulate in business language the meaning of the data, the relationships of the data to the business process, the relationships of the data sets to each other.
Participate in the development of appropriate visualizations or reports of the data under the guidance of the BI Visualization Engineer and business SMEs.
Work in a team environment with the BI Visualization Engineer, BI Data Engineer, and other data developers to share ideas, problem solve and deliver sustainable, stable quality solutions.
Work with IT resources to effectively communicate technical issues and enhancements At times, the data developer may be participating in discussions with the business stakeholders and must be able to communicate effectively about the data being delivered through the visualization or report.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience Minimum of 3+ years of advanced Alteryx (or comparable ETL tool) usage and data development.
Highly Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills including the ability to adjust technical to business speak.
BI Tools Experience Required: Alteryx (or comparable ETL tool), Tableau, SAP Business objects, and SQL.
