Day to day: Building test fixtures for controls software validation.
Executing software validation tests.
Summary: Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, applying principles and theories of electronics, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing.
Typically has the ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints.
The technical skills include the ability to apply the principles of electrical theory and knowledge of machines and tools.
Minimum of Associate Degree in a technical discipline 1 yrs experience Experience in Test Engineering and executing test cases Electrical Troubleshooting and ability to read electrical schematics Knowledge of basic lab equipment; Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written) Proficient with MS Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel, Powerpoint, etc) 6 months to 1 year experience with wiring assembly NICE TO HAVE Experience with test validation IPC-610 Certification Software Test Experience Test Case Management Skills: Troubleshooting, software validation, testing software, Blueprint, Repair, python, hardware/software, hardware testing, software testing, technical support, Electrical About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
