Sr. Software Engineering Manager (Data and BI) (Remote)

The Senior Software Engineering Manager for Data and BI will lead 2-4 product development teams.

They will work cross functionally with the company’s product development, infrastructure, security, and software development teams to provide customer-centric solutions and build a world-class service-oriented architecture for the Accurate ordering platforms to meet the exploding growth of the company and business demands.

This individual plays a key role within the end-to-end phase of software development lifecycle.

If this sounds good to you, join our team The Senior Manager, Data and BI will lead multiple teams to deliver Data and Insights for both internal and external stake holders Lead team(s) to design and deliver ongoing and ad-hoc reporting to cover metrics useful for different functional areas Effectively communicate business and technical information across the organization Partner with product owners to shape product roadmaps that help close competitive gaps, allow us to penetrate new industries/markets, and/or win strategic deals Lead technology decisions as it relates to software engineering resources and solutions Participate in cross-team solution design reviews Drive software development processes and practices over multiple teams, projects, and platforms Work independently to validate the best solution, but interact collaboratively to drive the best solution Participate in recruiting activities to build out software development teams Assess overall technical debt in the system and develop plans for remediation BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience 4 years of people management 8 years of full-stack development experience using the following technologies: Datawarehouse best practices Snowflake, MS SQL Server, MySql, MongoDB, DynamoDB C#, Python, R, Java Tableau, SSRS SSIS, QLIK Replicate, DMS High-charts, D3 SAML, SSO, OAuth Jenkins, TeamCity Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS Architected software solution designs for complex data-oriented systems and portals with performance and security in mind Solid understanding of the Agile or SCRUM development process and software release processes Ability to lead and coach direct reports Working knowledge of project management practices Strong relationship management and influencing skills Solid problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Detail oriented, with strong written and verbal communication The Accurate Way: We offer a fun, fast-paced environment, with lots of room for growth.
