Sr Salesforce Business Analyst

Our global media client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to act as as an integral member responsible for the Salesforce related applications within Global Media business segments. Will be supporting and interfacing with various Salesforce modules and working with stakeholders across various teams. The primary role of the Business Analyst is to act as a liaison between business partners and supporting the solution delivery lifecycle for the application portfolio suite under the direction of the Director, The Business Analyst will join a team consisting of high-performing individuals that execute on a broad range of activities, including elicitation and scoping, requirements analysis, systems analysis, functional architecture, interface architecture, and knowledge management. This role is expected to be proactive and work as part of a team alongside developers, support consultants, IT infrastructure, vendors and different business verticals to adequately support the business and maintain proper alignment. This is a hybrid onsite role located within the greater Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities/Skills

  • Act as a business liaison between IT and the Business Community to understand business requirements for system updates and translate requests into functional design specifications
  • Support application integrations and build roadmaps for future integrations across the application portfolio and workflows.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regular production support activities including issue analysis, documentation & prioritization, defect management and testing
  • Independently conduct and drive business requirements and design related discussions and workshops based on business needs and objectives
  • Responsible for understanding, reviewing, analyzing and evaluating business partner needs
  • Partner with other business units to identify, document and implement integrations to other sources of company data in order to expand visibility of the business across the organization
  • Create design specifications using use case format, workflows, wireframes, modeling and related methods as needed
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide input on technical solutions and support end to end solution delivery

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in an IT business analyst role with responsibilities covering the technical development and support for applications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Salesforce.com Platform or Salesforce Lightning framework
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of IT project management SDLC processes and methodologies, such as Agile Scrum and Waterfall along with associated best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather input from multiple sources and articulate technical recommendations and a point-of-view for key decisions
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and leverage team members as necessary
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the comfort to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Experience leading the business discussions and extracting and documenting business requirements
  • Experience identifying gaps, risks, and impact for solution recommendations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills able to identify flexible and forward thinking IT solutions
  • Experience leading the analysis, extracting and documenting business requirements, and testing on projects, system enhancements and defects
  • Experience documenting and executing test cases from user stories and requirements documents
  • Experience using defect tracking and change management processes, metrics and tools
  • Demonstrated track record of developing excellent relationship with key business partners and stakeholders
  • Proven experience completing assigned tasks on multiple projects with tight deadlines successfully
