Our client has an opening for a QA Engineer on the music technology team to support ongoing development and maintenance of a large custom Salesforce application. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality for each monthly release. Testing will be performed both manually and by creating automated test scripts within our established framework. Candidate will report to a QA Manager and be part of growing team of professionals focused on delivering products that create operational efficiencies for our Music Production and Clearance stakeholders. The Candidate will have 5 years of experience with manual testing and 2 years of automation. Can be remote but must work West Coast Hours. Required Understanding of at least one object-oriented programming language – Java, C Strong experience with creating and executing manual test cases Strong experience creating, analyzing and troubleshooting defectbug reports Understanding of Continuous IntegrationContinuous Deployment Previous experience with a Test Case Management System ndash TestRail, Team Foundation Server At least 2 years of experience testing applications in Salesforce Strong Understanding of the Agile methodology and framework Excellent communication skills Nice to have experience API Testing – Postman Behavior Driven Development Scripting language – JavaScriptPython JIRA Confluence Experience using Jenkins or other deployment tools Experience with source control management such as Git Contributed to the development of an automation framework from its early stages Experience Level At least 5 years of experience with manual testing and 2 years of automation Education Minimum is a Bachelorsrsquo degree
