Data Scientist – 12 Month Contract About the Company: We are a leading marketing arm of a large media and entertainment conglomerate, specializing in providing premium TV entertainment services to customers across the United States. Our team is responsible for the churn and causal inference modeling of our customers, utilizing advanced data science techniques to better understand our customers and optimize our business strategies. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team for a 12-month contract position. Responsibilities: Analyze data and develop models to identify customer churn based on what offer they are given and to whom it is given, with a focus on offer effectiveness. Work on causal inference projects to better understand the impact of our business strategies on customer churn and identify areas for optimization. Finish micro-optimization projects to help fine-tune our models and ensure they are producing accurate results. Work with data pipelines and Spark to ensure data is properly processed and analyzed. Utilize advanced Python skills to develop data science models. Deploy models and data via DataBricks and CSV files. Collaborate with other teams across the organization to develop and implement best practices in data science and analytics. Required Skills: Understanding of data pipelines and Spark. Strong SQL skills. Advanced Python skills for data science modeling. Experience putting models into production. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with causal inference packages such as EconML and Causal ML. SparkML experience. Tableau experience. DataBricks experience.
