Sr Business Control Specialist Process Automation

Job Description: Line of Business Role Description The Sr Business Control Specialist reports into the GBAM Operations Process Automation COO and directly supports the Technology Program Risk lead.

The risk specialist will support the management, implementation and execution of the risk and control framework for the Process Automation Organization.

Responsibilities; Ensure compliance with Bank of America standards for risk management, identification, response and remediation.

Escalate control gaps and issues as needed.

Provide framework for managing and governing risk and control activities.

Consult and guide application teams and partners on the usage of Risk tools, processes and deliverables.

Document, debate, and manage the performance of issues and risks within the portfolio; oversee metrics reviews and provide ongoing transparency Inspect evidence of control design and operation Participate in the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process as required Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving risk management processes; ability to partner across multiple divisions to execute Identify, aggregate, report and escalate compliance and operational risks, issues and control enhancements.

Collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to create meeting presentation content and messaging Provide quality assurance & control over Operations key control processes Provide an independent assessment of control and risk issues for senior leadership of Operations and outside Risk organizations Work with Operations line management to strengthen the control environment and improve control culture & practices Embed a risk awareness culture across the Client Operational Services Operations Teams Ability to be able to advise on appropriate approach, policies and standards for the respective operations product areas Required Skills Ability to analyze control process to identify key issues e.g.

review control processes, map out key controls, identify control gaps and make recommendations.

Excellent Organizational & Multi-tasking skills to support monthly risk process whilst at same time addressing variety of ad-hoc requests and issues as they arise.

Ability to work to tight deadlines and produce accurate and complete analysis Project management and organizational skills Ability to influence outside of direct team to facilitate changes to control environment e.g.

through review of incidents and losses.
