Independent Broadcasters use our platform to create and share live streaming video, photographs, and similar content.
What you’ll do:
Our software engineers work in small pods to focus their efforts on particular parts of the platform. You will be engineering and innovating new features for the new Apps system. Our Apps system lets outside developers create custom apps for broadcasters in Javascript. These can be games, tipping menus and anything else a developer may come up with. Specifically, you will:
- Participate in planning, design and innovation phases
- Create highly functional and performant code for internal and client-facing apps using state-of-the art tools
- Collaborate with our team of skilled software engineers to help define program architectures and build robust, scalable platforms
- Lead process analysis and provide feedback on deficient systems

How we build the product:
The App system is built in Go, Python and leveraging the V8 Javascript engine. It is hosted on GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
What You’ll Need:
- High proficiency in Go
- High proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in Javascript.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in high-paced production environment.
- Experience building scalable enterprise applications
- Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript (es6+) or TypeScript.
- Strong CS fundamentals.
- Excellent understanding of and experience with various databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc).
