Candidate should have demonstrable years of solid experience in Java, J2EE in a large enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to the delivery of software projects through their technical efforts effectively with cross functional and cross organization teams.
Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain web services using Data Power appliances.
Work closely with the team, architect, product owner and QA to design and develop services.
Develop and perform unit testing, integration testing engaging interfacing application Prototype solutions as needed.
Build scalable and fault tolerant solutions Integrate with overlapping cross-functional teams.
Develop solutions to real world problems and provide effort and cost estimates.
Work alongside administrators to ensure smooth deployment of changes.
Participate in SAFe AgileScrum ceremonies, including 2-week release sprints Mentor junior software engineers.
Required Qualifications 5 years of overall IT experience 5 years of experience in various technology platforms and frameworks, both front-end and back-end that include JAVA, J2EE, Webservices (RESTSOAP), Design Patterns, Microservices Architecture, Database Management using IBM DB2, SQLStored Procedure, XML, JavaScript, HTML etc.
5 years of relevant and current digital andor ecommerce experience including APIs, Micro services, customization, integration, UI development and analytics 5 years of experience in various J2EE technologies including Hibernate, Struts MVC Framework and Spring Framework such as Spring MVC, IOC, AOP and Spring JDBC.
5 years of experience developing RESTful and SOAP based web services 5 years of experience in working with design and development of microservices using Spring Boot 5 years of experience with agile development required, SAFe Agile experienced preferred.
Experience in applying DevOps strategies, designs, implementations, and working with tools and utilities like Maven, SonarQube, Jenkins, IntelliJ etc.
Hands on experience working in ORM frameworks like Hibernate, Ibatis Good knowledge and experience working on relational databases like Oracle 11912c, DB2 10.0 capabilitiesfunctionalities i.e., JIRA, Rally, GIT, Jenkins ndash Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD), Splunk, App Dynamics etc Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
Excellent communications skills with ability to communicate effectively in visual, verbal, and written form.
Strong desire to build in test from the start with TDD development experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in large Retail, Pharmacy, a plus.
Experience with AngularJS preferable.
Experience in Retail Pharmacy ndash Modernization with decommissioning legacy systems.
Strong desire to build in test from the start with TDD development experience.
Experience with Agile SAFe Software Development Principles.
Education Bachelorrsquos degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required.
