Here’s what we are looking for with this role:You will: Design and develop for Dell’s entire portfolio of data center and campus networking switches Take part in the full software development life cycle including development, test, continuous delivery and support Develop & integrate networking stack with Linux kernel and switching ASICs Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and deliveryEssential Requirements Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field Experience in all phases of software development: feasibility, design, implementation, integration, test and delivery.
5+ years of strong software development/programming experience in Python/C/Golang Excellent knowledge about TCP/IP protocols and networking stack Hands on experience with one of the routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast etc Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills Strong communication skills and an ability to articulate technical design while understanding business requirementsDesirable Requirements Development experience in open source community or working with open-source projects Experience with Network Management, Configuration/Orchestration/Monitoring tools like Telegraf, Zabbix etc Experience with REST API-driven developmentHere’s our story; now tell us yoursDell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
