Citizenship required Summary/Objective Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered family.

Pursuant to EO 14042, this position will require proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Essential Functions : Conducts software systemsafetyevaluations for DoD systems.

Supportssoftware system requirements identification and development process by evaluating and assessing planning, design, development, production, and operations for DoD software systems architectures.

Prepares and writes formal SystemsSafetyHazard Analysis Reports to categorize and summarize all potential software-hardware interaction hazards.

Performs softwaresafety-critical and mission-critical systems analysis throughout the life cycle from initial requirements through design, implementation, testing, delivery, and support.

Utilizes excellent written and oral communication skills to maintain successful dailyinteraction with customer and teammates.

Operates proactively with ability to handle significant responsibility, and attention to detail.

Required Education and Experience: ABET accredited BS in Computer Engineering Experience developing embedded mission critical software in C, C++, or ADA Familiarity with software development/lifecycle IEEE 12207, MIL-STD-498 Experience with Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and/or Failure Mode, Effects & Critically Analysis (FMECA) Working knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516, DO-178, MIL-STD-882, JSSSEH, AMCOM Regulation 385-17, SAE ARP 4761, or similar software safety standards Knowledge of the integration and verification of large systems Desired: Knowledge of static and dynamic code analysis Experience with Model Based Software Development Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink, Rhapsody, DOORS, SCADE, etc.
