(US01) Location: Naples Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics.
Arthrex is looking for a Software Test Professional (SDET) with the responsibility for leading and performing the testing of COTS business applications.
The Test Analyst will work with Spira Test as a test management tool and Selenium as a test automation tool.
The Test Analyst will interact with various application team members (Business Analysts, Application Analysts) including SQA testers onsite and offshore within the IT division of Arthrex.
The SQA Test Analyst will be part of a dynamic software test team with established standards and processes in place supporting best practices in both manual and automating testing of enhancements, upgrades, and fixes.
Previous experience in a company within an FDA regulated industry is preferred but not required.
We would prefer for this to sit with us at our Naples Florida Headquarters, but we are open to it being remote for the right situation.
Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills and a Bachelors’ degree will be essential for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform testing on business applications being responsible for all test planning, execution, and reporting activities.
Apply test methodology, as well as business process and application knowledge, in the design of tests and testing strategies.
Based on business and functional requirements, identify testing scenarios and develop test cases to include test objective, pre-requisites, test steps, and expected results.
Execute planned and exploratory testing, utilizing manual and automated test cases, to assure the quality of an application’s usability, functionality, security, and performance.
Document actual test results and defects.
Responsible for all testing artifacts – test plans, automated test scripts, test summary report, requirement traceability matrix, KPI’s, etc.
Communicate issues identified during testing activities to application development team and provide recommended process/application improvements to management.
Represent SQA on application/project teams and in project planning, requirement gathering and softwear development meetings.
Attend project status meetings and provide SQA status, work with PM to define SQA tasks and estimates for the project schedule.
Manage SQA tasks and deadlines as test lead/SME for assigned project(s).
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Minimum two years of experience in Software Quality Assurance performing UI, Functional, and Regression testing of either packaged, custom developed (.Net/Java), and/or mobile applications required.
Experience with testing business applications running on either web, client server, and/or mobile platforms required, including performance of OS and browser compatibility testing.
Experience with using SpiraTest or equivalent Test Management tool preferred.
Experience with using (running scripts) and developing automation scripts in Selenium or equivalent Test Automation tool preferred.
Experience in testing emergency application defects in production systems, system patches, maintenance releases, enhancement releases, and implementations of new applications required.
Experience in analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements/specifications and developing and executing structured/methodical test cases to prove fulfillment of requirements and viability of application usage and functionality required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Working knowledge of the Software Development Life cycle and SQA’s role in it through proven explanation of the process.
Solid understanding of programming languages and several technologies including relational databases, SQL and XML/JSON required.
Demonstrated ability to document test plans, test cases, test results.
Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet task and project deadlines Good verbal and written communication skills and a customer service orientation ISTQB Foundation Level certification (CTFL) preferred.
