A2I is seeking a self-motivated Software Engineer who is ready to solve some of the most challenging technical problems in a fast-paced and agile environment.Your role on our team will beto design, implement, maintainsoftwaremeetinggovernment-driven requirementstodevelopa mission-critical command-and-control (C2) system.
Responsibilities: As part of our team, your role will include: Contributing to system-level design to optimize overall performance and reliability Translating designsinto computer software Testing, debugging, and refiningcodeto produce the required product Preparing program and user documentation Enhancing software to improve efficiencyand increasefunctionality Providing full lifecycle support includingend-user interaction Qualifications: Minimum Education: To qualify for this role you must have a Bachelors Degree in:Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Master of Science (M.S.) in Information Systems.
Minimum Experience: Youmust have five (5) years ofdevelopment experience working onclient-side or server-side applicationsin a Windows or Linux environment.At least one (1) of those yearsmust be developing full-stack web applicationsusing JavaScriptand Node.jsundera modern applicationframework(e.g.React, Vue.js).Youmustalsodemonstrate experience deriving design specificationsfor functional activities andbe ableto develop, troubleshoot, and test complex software to satisfy design objectives.Youmust haveproficiency withevent-driven and asynchronoussoftware design anddevelopment; the use ofone or more high-levellanguages like C#or Java; and database design and implementation, preferably withMongoDB.
Desired skills: It is preferred that you have experience with REST service or Web server experience and experience in service/system interconnectivity in an enterprise environment.Experience in one or more of the following are also a plus: DevOps Environments, Vue.js, SQL Server, Docker, Kubernetes.
Clearance Requirement : Active Top Secret (TS) clearance is required.
