Boeing Phantom Works creates the next generation products and services for the Boeing Defense, Space & Security business and is currently looking for a Senior Real Time Software Engineer to join our team.
We work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space.
We focus on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers.
Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.
We are seeking a Senior Real Time Software Engineer with experience developing simulations to support satellite software development.
Position Responsibilities: Architect, design, implement, and test simulations of multiple payloads and hardware interfaces Integrate simulations, including those provided by suppliers, into a cohesive environment to support test and verification of satellite mission software Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure simulation functionality integrates with overall program efforts Develop tasking for other engineers; review and approve resulting work product Act as a control account manager (CAM) for the software and simulation teams This position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret U.S.
Security Clearance, for which the U.S.
Government requires U.S.
Citizenship.

Top Secret Security Clearance is highly preferred.
A U.S.
Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or Engineering Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): High degree of proficiency with C++ Multiple years of experience developing for the Linux OS Networking and network protocol (TCP/IP, UDP) experience Experience using Eclipse and Visual Studio Satellite or other related space experience is highly desired Familiarity with Bitbucket, Confluence, Jenkins, Cmake, Jira Experience with Cost Account Management TS/SSBI highly desired Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.
Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD4 years’ related work experience, Master7 years’ related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
