Responsibilities As a Salesforce Engineer, you’ll join our US Insurance Sales Solutions team that specializes on our Salesforce CRM used by our financial professionals and internal partners We are looking for a technology professional with an interest in Salesforce and an engineering mindset who can help configure, build, and develop upon our core CRM platform and other integrated systems.
This work will be a combination of both administrative and development work within the platform.
You will need to be comfortable playing various roles within the team and committed to learning and growing to meet the ever-changing needs of our stakeholders.

The team works in an agile environment with high collaboration and mobbing/pair programming.
Your day will be filled with: Solving interesting and complex problems from problem identification through solution deployment to create a positive customer experience Complete cloud-based implementations through custom development in Salesforce Apex and Lightning development as well as out of the box Salesforce configurations Develop and maintain Salesforce configurations and manage users, profiles, and roles Contribute to a team atmosphere through hands on gathering of requirements, coding, quality assurance, design and testing Participate in larger technical design of features with guidance Collaborating with purpose.

Our goal is to enhance the experience of our financial professionals and keep them at the center of our work Experimenting with new tools and practices to deliver business value in an Agile organization Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree with a preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math related field or equivalent experience Software development experience in modern technologies (Java preferred) Strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, execution and communication skills Willing to continuously learn and adapt to new thought patterns and technology solutions Additional preferred technical experience: Cloud exposure Salesforce JavaScript/Java Agile/Lean methodology Development practices including TDD, CI, and paired programming Keys to success in this position Willingness and desire to work on Salesforce platform Self-starter who likes working in a fast-paced environment Comfort with ambiguity and asking questions Continuous Improvement in all you do Ability to manage and self-prioritize work Innovative.
