What You Will Be Doing
Automotus helps cities better understand, manage, and monetize their curbs. We use computer vision deployed at the edge to guide planning decisions, autonomously charge companies like Amazon and Postmates for parking by the minute, and automate enforcement, while also helping fleets save money by operating more efficiently and avoiding parking citations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy IoT deployment solutions
- Build robust and scalable pipelines for receiving and processing streaming data from the edge
- Function as a leader within the engineering organization; establish and maintain development processes that will ensure that our team continues to execute effectively as we grow
What You Need for this Position
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience designing, implementing, and testing scalable data processing systems
- Orchestrating and managing deployments in production
- Ability to operate and execute independently without significant oversight
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience working on a production-grade IoT project
- Experience working with Golang and/or Typescript
- Experience working within the AWS ecosystem
- Experience working with geospatial and time-series data
- Bash scripting skills
