Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will have an opportunity to work with the latest cloud technologies to build industry-leading business management solutions for your customers.
In this role, you will work with Azure, Synapse, and other cloud-native platforms to help architect and develop a suite of future-state analytics capabilities.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to do the following:
Assess, recommend, and adopt relevant new technologies, tools, and processes from Microsoft and industry.
Support and influence the team culture customer-centricity and continuous improvement.
Implement practices that ensure accurate, safe, and efficient releases for our services.
Implement and maintain excellent design and development processes.
Collaborate with others to solve complex problems keeping pace with our global business.
Leverage sound engineering practices and principles.
Flight code changes, use telemetry and analytics to take a understand customer impact.
Provide technical feedback to our product engineering partners to evolve and mature our Azure services and Power Platform.
Work with multiple client partner teams to implement cohesive end-to-end experiences.
Qualifications
Requirements
BS/BA/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics OR equivalent work experience.
1+ years of software development experience with big data processing systems or online services.
1+ years hands on experience with Object-Oriented programming in languages like Java, Python, C++, and C.
1+ years hands on experience using SQL or related experience to manipulate large datasets.
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for building highly scalable, reliable, cloud services.
Ability to communicate technical details clearly across teams.
Excellent analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to software design.
Experience building cloud services on Azure is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Finance data and business rhythms a plus.
Experience with or exposure to Agile and iterative development processes.
Ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies.
