The Software Engineer is a member of the Development team responsible for the development and ongoing support of our client’s system(s) with their customers. Responsibilities Develop well-written code that meets the architectural design and the business objectives Follow established processes for source code management and application deployment Participate in the peer review process, reviewing code for form and function Work closely with the QA team to ensure proper coverage of affected areas Troubleshoot production issues that arise Requirements Education BS Computer ScienceEngineering or equivalent Minimum of 3+ years of experience developing SaaS applications Web development knowledge such as HTML, jQuery, CSS, and javascript Able to write efficient database queries 1 year of Git (or other VCS) usage in an enterprise setting Strong knowledge of Linux Ability to work under tight project deadlines Well organized and good communication skills Customer focus and results oriented Experience with Docker, .Net, Python, PHP, and Go are highly desired Familiarity with Moodle andor Moodle plug-in development desired
