The Software Engineer is a member of the Development team responsible for the development and ongoing support of our client’s system(s) with their customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop well-written code that meets the architectural design and the business objectives
- Follow established processes for source code management and application deployment
- Participate in the peer review process, reviewing code for form and function
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure proper coverage of affected areas
- Troubleshoot production issues that arise

Requirements
- Education: BS Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience developing SaaS applications
- Web development knowledge such as HTML, jQuery , CSS, and javascript
- Able to write efficient database queries
- 1 year of Git (or other VCS) usage in an enterprise setting
- Strong knowledge of Linux
- Ability to work under tight project deadlines
- Well organized and good communication skills
- Customer focus and results oriented
- Experience with Docker, .Net, Python, PHP, and Go are highly desired
- Familiarity with Moodle and/or Moodle plug-in development desired
