Software Engineer 3 – ASP.Net Developer

Agency Project Scope Department needs 2 experienced .Net Software Engineers to work with the Idaho team to help build/maintain the Idaho Unemployment Insurance (iUS) Tax System.

Review current architecture and refactor legacy code to meet current design patterns developing the Tax web applications for Idaho.

These software engineers will also spend time creating automated test scenarios/cases for the iUS system.

Resumes will be used for initial selection and should articulate the latest coding/development experience.

Technical interviews will be used as needed to vet the candidates’ skills using hands-on coding exercises.

Extensive experience with or detailed knowledge of Unemployment Insurance Tax Systems is required.

Agency Expected Deliverables These contractors will work remotely and on-site under the direction of the department;s project manager and code to the iUS coding standards as part of the development/testing team.

Contractors will attend daily project scrum(s).

Design and peer reviews will be used to ensure work is of appropriate quality and quantity.

Contractors will develop C# code, coded unit test, document, and write automated tests for the Unemployment Insurance System (iUS.) Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.)

• Git 2.19.0 or later
• OpenAPI (Swagger)
• RabbitMQ
• T-SQL (MSSQL 2017 or later) Preference will be given to developers with demonstrated knowledge or recent experience in:
• Writing unit, integration, and automated tests against Open API endpoints
• Agile/Scrum development team experience
• Certified Scrum Master/Scrum Developer
• Google Charts API Successful candidates will be experienced developers who have strong skills in these development technologies, and the ability to be using these tools immediately.

Experience with Unemployment Insurance applications in required.
