As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating HTML mockups, website theme development, interactive development and enhancements to existing websites within our client portfolio.
You will be accountable for establishing and following project scope, communicating effectively in a cross-functional team environment, and tracking projects throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Your ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends will allow you to keep Go Local Interactive on the cutting edge of technology Job Expectations Design and write code for assigned client projects Participate in client communications where applicable, such as client meetings Manage content and settings in a content management system Analyze and interpret metric data to drive user experience improvements Effectively communicate both technical and non-technical information Research, adapt, and stay up-to-date on industry trends Job Qualifications A working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular) Demonstrates an understanding of PHP programming language for the purpose of building templates Demonstrates functional experience with responsive design concepts Advanced understanding of content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress Proficient skills with Git version control and deployment A proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast paced environment to effectively meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to investigate and think analytically Ability to collaborate in a team-environment Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design or another related field preferred 2 years of related front end web development experience Time tracking and Project Management Software experience preferred Please no agencies or unsolicited applicant phone calls.
