A software company located in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles is currently looking to bring on a Senior Java Engineer that has potential to grow into a Lead Engineer. You’ll develop in technologies including Java8, SpringBoot, Docker, Microservices, Rest API, React and they’re moving into the Kubernetes stack so you’ll get to work on that as well. They’re experiencing high levels of scalability so they’re looking to bring on someone who can help scale out their projects even further since they recently brought on a few more clients. This role will be 90 backend development, 10 front end development and you’ll work on a team of 14. They’re looking for someone who has strong computer science fundamentals, strong skills in distributed systems and design patterns and someone who is a go-getter and a team player. The platform is also experiencing high levels of traffic and it’s all consumer facing so the projects you’ll work on will directly affect consumers! This full time role comes with a generous base salary plus bonus package, 401K matching, 3 weeks of paid time off, a fully stocked kitchen, it’s 100 remote during Covid-19 and will be partial remote post Covid-19.
