The Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer is in charge of our core infrastructure.

This role will manage our systems and services, configurations, monitoring, and ensure that our applications are available and performant.

* We are a fully remote company.

Our employees can work remote, as long as they reside in the United States.

What You’ll Do:
Lead the repair / troubleshooting of support escalation issues
Lead efforts to migrate our platform to GCP, and manage the Google Cloud services
Build and manage big data and data pipeline initiatives within Google Cloud
Ensure all systems are monitored and alerting, escalation procedures are in place
Build and run incident management processes, lead post-mortem efforts
Who We’re Looking For:
5+ years of SRE/DevOps experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
3+ years experience with Linux server and container-based infrastructure, ideally using Kubernetes.
3+ years of major cloud experience (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
3+ years experience with infrastructure monitoring solutions
Experience with automation using Infrastructure as Code using Deployment Manager, Ansible, Terraform.
Bonus Points:
Ruby on Rails developer experience, with hands-on experience debugging and optimizing production code.
Experience with creating data pipelines, setting up data warehousing, within Google Cloud.

DigitalOcean experience
Experience with Google Cloud Platform
Other Helpful Things To Know:
Can work remotely within the United States, however must be able to support all teams, which are across all time zones.

There may be some occasional (few/not often) meetings or calls that occur outside of your time zone, depending on the situation

Must be able to manage virtual meeting and communication technology, (i.e.

Zoom, Slack)
