We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Avenda Health to help us rid the world of cancer! We are a diverse, growing healthcare technology company with multiple products in the pipeline. You will help lead the way in creating cutting edge medical technology by implementing high performance solutions to our technical problems. For this position we are looking for an engineer to help us support our cloud-connected cancer therapy platform. The software you create will be used to treat thousands of cancer patients and improve their quality of life.
Our Tech Stack:
Modern code base built using Go + React.js + Three.js
Software quality enforced through code reviews, automated linting, unit and integration testing

You have experience working with teams and seeing projects to and past launch. You are always learning and value hearing and learning from different perspectives. Headquarters are in Culver City, CA. Position can be on-site, hybrid or remote based on candidate preference.
Position includes up to 15% travel consisting of hospital visits, integration testing with hardware, and quarterly company on-sites.

What you will do
Design and architect the software for our cloud-connected cancer therapy platform
Turn feedback from our users into actionable solutions and new features they will love
Use medical data to create beautiful and informative visualizations in WebGL
Create custom software tools to make your and your teams lives easier
Share your knowledge with your teammates by documenting what youve built
Design and implement rigorous tests suitable for a medical device
Mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices
What wed like to see
Demonstrated experience developing, testing, iterating, and maintaining a launched product
Strong understanding of data structures and modern software design patterns
Strong experience with linux (we use CentOS)
(Bonus) Experience in a 3D Graphics Library (Three.js, WebGL, Unity, etc)
(Bonus) Knowledge of medical imaging fundamentals or a strong desire to learn (Ultrasound, MRI, DICOM)
(Bonus) Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e. healthcare)
