I am currently partnered with one of the premier sports and entertainment enterprises in the world to assist in staffing their rapidly expanding technology organization. Senior Software Engineers must have a strong enterprise Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, JVM background, skilled in the full software development lifecycle, and have experience in building highly scalable distributed systems.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver on high traffic, large scale global platforms encompassing everything from content to media to on-demand services
- Join a team in solving challenging problems and enhancing existing products for engaging user experiences
- Design and build complex applications with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and high reliability
- Participate in development, cloud architecture, and agile process methodology
- Development using CI/CD pipelines and quality automation.
- Maintain and expand upon knowledge of multiple languages, frameworks, tools, devices, applications, and their capabilities
- Leverage the latest Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JVM, Microservices and Cloud technologies to grow the business platform
- Lead and take ownership of critical projects and your own initiatives
- Collaborate with a team of extraordinary engineers and technologists
- Influence the innovation of products used by millions of users worldwide
- Full lifecycle software development: requirements gathering, design, develop, test, deploy, and support
- Assist in changing the way content is consumed by users across various platforms
Skills & Experience Needed:
- 3+ Years of software development experience Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JVM
- Skilled with JavaScript, React, TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices implementations, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS or GCP
- Knowledge CI/CD, Agile Processes, automation, and design patterns
- Familiar with stream-processing platform and message broker: Kafka, RabbitMQ
- Experience with API Gateways
- Experience building scalable, distributed systems
- Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Must be local in Los Angeles for a Hybrid work schedule – 3 days in office, 2 days remote
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math or similar
