Essential Functions & Responsibilities: As an individual contributor, building bullet proof distributed systems at global scale, facing multiple million of users every day Constantly increasing the level of automation (CI/CD), test coverage and observability (monitoring and alerting) in collaboration with DevOps Breaking down monolithic architectures and technical debt into actionable modernisation steps, both involving reverse engineering and writing documentation Support translating strategy and initiatives into concrete actionable items, including collaboration with the Product team and LOE estimations Align within the global engineering team, proactively sharing knowledge and expertise Embrace and apply agile mindset: think in iterations, deliver increments, fail early Requirements: 3 years of experience as a Web Software Engineer, preferably SaaS Practical experience in complex distributed HA systems, preferably global cloud deployments General cloud and automation expertise, preferably focused on AWS and Kubernetes Multi year experience with Golang Practical experience in SQL vs NoSQL database technologies, preferably PostgreSQL and MongoDB Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering discipline PriceSpider is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
