GoFundMe is looking to build out our Payments engineering team.
We are searching for a talented software engineer who’s interested in changing the lives of millions of people for the better, personal and professional growth, and having a real impact on our products and users!
The job…
Developing efficient, scalable payments infrastructure Building out robust API’s and third party payment processing integrations Working closely with Kotlin (Java), Spring Boot, MySQL and some PHP Security minded with adherence to, and compliance with, PCI rules and regulations 5+ years of software development experience Strong knowledge and experience with Java (Kotlin) or similar object-oriented programming languages Strong knowledge and experience working with Spring Boot Framework Experience with Apache Kafka or similar Experience and open to work with frontend technologies such as React JS is a plus Experience working with AWS technology stack Experience working with payment processing, PCI compliance, and payment processor integration Self starter, excited about new technologies and continuous learning Strong communication skills with no hesitation to share your ideas Strong work ethic
– You are reliable, produce quality work, take pride and ownership in your work Can work both independently and love to collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment Proven track record of building applications or integrations from the ground up BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant professional work experience
