A growing startup in Los Angeles is adding a Senior Software Engineer to their current team of four. Building a software platform that uses machine learning to analyze online reputation for individuals and businesses, this tight-knit group of engineers implements some of the newest trends in artificial intelligence. Currently, their ideal candidate will have at least five years of software development experience in a modern JavaScript environment, preferably with a strong DevOps culture. ReactJS, Redux, NodeJS, and Microservices based architecture are desired skills, and serverless AWS experience would be a huge plus. Also, this person will become the most senior engineer on the team so some type of mentorship or past lead experience would be an asset. From a personality perspective, this person should be a good listener, but open and candid and not afraid to speak up with opinions about development best practices.
