Hiring Engineer 1 What you’ll do Full stack web/mobile application development with a variety of coding languages.
Work closely with Product Manager to define feature specifications and build products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native.
Create engaging UIs using performant and modern React.
Design / architect complex systems in an iterative and evolutionary manner.
Own projects related to building out new product functionality.
Team Management Sets direction and goals for the team regarding project impact, product quality and engineering efficiency.
Experience improving stability through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes.
Leads major initiatives, projects, teams, roll-outs and phased-releases.
Helps to onboard new team members, provides mentorship and enables successful ramp up on your team’s code bases.
Required skills 5 years of experience in software development.
You produce high-quality code and set the technical bar for the team.
Highly technical with strong hands-on coding skills.
You have experience driving projects with large scope independently.
Fluent in at least one backend web framework.
Experience with React or a similar framework.
Comfortable with SQL.
You prize reliability, simplicity, and robustness in building out systems.
You communicate clearly and listen well.
You are a self-starter and comfortable taking on a variety of roles.
Have a startup mentality: team player, self-motivated, high-integrity, pragmatic, resourceful, can execute under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications Masters/Ph.D.
in computer science or equivalent.
Experience developing APIs, SDKs and developer tools.
Prior knowledge of Graphql, Redis, Elasticsearch and React Native.
Prior experience with distributed systems and high-throughput services.
Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud services.
