This role leads an accomplished team of engineers and scientists to create the clinical user, control, and data interfaces for cutting-edge, robotic systems deploying an ultrasound sensor.Attributes of a Successful Candidate+ You are creative in thought and identify solutions that are ?outside of the box?+ You are highly motivated whether you are on a team or working independently+ You own your projects and tackle your objectives to help accomplish team goalsEssential Functions+ Lead technical staff and/or engineers in the design, debug and analysis of user interface, system controls, clinical data processing, and inter-device communications within embedded and desktop systems.+ Work with cross-functional teams to analyze customer needs and project requirements to determine software sub-system requirement specifications.+ Drive formal development processes from requirements through deployment, including risk management activities and formal documentation.+ Design and develop software components and test infrastructure in accordance with architecture and requirement specifications and test plans.+ Manage assigned tasks as well as those of the assigned technical team within the schedule and budget.+ Adhere to development standards and procedures.Requirements+ BS in computer science, electrical engineering or a related technical field.+ 6+ years of professional working experience.+ Experience with developing software products within an FDA or other regulated industry.+ Proficiency programming in a compiled language such as C++, C# or Java.+ Proficiency in Python programming.+ Experience developing embedded and real-time systems or machine learning algorithms a plus.+ Proficiency developing unit and system tests, including automated tests.+ Proficiency in the product development lifecycle; including risk analysis, requirements, design, implementation, debug, verification, and validation, SCM.+ Proficiency with software engineering tools (IDE, Debuggers, analyzers, VCS)+ Outstanding problem-solving skills and reliable execution of complex solutions.+ Passion, integrity and commitment to high product quality.Additional Perks/BenefitsNovaSignal takes pride in their employees and offers a variety benefits, wellness programs, and company perks including:+ Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans+ Life insurance+ Flexible Spending Accounts+ 401(K)+ Flexible PTO+ Paid Holiday and Sick Days+ Team Bonding Events+ Promoting from WithinEEO StatementNovaSignal is an equal opportunity employer.
