What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Principal Solutions Architect, you will be a part of a team in a very fast paced, agile environment that requires strong technical ability, flexibility, sound judgement and creative thinking.

You will provide strong technical leadership and lead software engineers for our cloud teams, build a large, highly scalable distributed product / solution.

You’ll ensure that the project runs smoothly, train and mentor staff, and develop robust internal and external partnerships necessary for success.

You’ll also define processes and create ways to automate repetitive tasks and seek out ways to drive efficiency and improvements.

You will:
Work with product managers & business teams to understand requirements & define product/solution architecture working with solution architects.
Understand Dell’s technology stack, deployment architecture, assess technology alternatives for web & data requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Collaborate with solution architects, software developers and data engineers and help the team understand the technical implications of decisions.
Adopt and enhance design & development standards for applications development & data engineering to ensure high quality deliverables.
Review data & solution architecture and overall solution design spanning web, data, security & deployment.

Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements
Experience (12+ years) in IT industry with relevant experience in developing applications on micro-services & micro-frontend architectures & responsive design.
Experience (10+ years) in PKS / Kubernetes, Docker, Java/Spring Boot, Node, Kafka, REST API, ReactJS, SSO/OAuth2, API management platforms with depth in building highly scalable & available web applications.
Experience (5+) in MongoDB, Postgres / Greenplum and other SQL / NoSQL databases with depth in data modeling & a good understanding of data engineering.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from independent research.
Experience with CI-CD using Gitlab / Jenkins pipelines.

Desirable Requirements
Experience with data engineering tools such as StreamSets / Informatica.
Dell Proven Professional Certification.
