Job Summary The Senior Manager IT Business Systems will be responsible for the delivery and support of business applications for Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs and Supply Chain Operations.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and strong Biotech/Pharma IT experience.
This position interacts with the business stakeholders to ensure that the systems application suite meets the needs of the users as we head towards our first product launch. The role will monitor the performance of IT services consumed by the business units and partner closely with the Corporate IT function as well as vendor service delivery teams.
Roles & Responsibilities * Engage business stakeholders to understand business demand and deliver scalable solutions to support Arcutis product launches and future growth* Manage and support implementation of Business System initiatives (e.g.
Commercial & Medical CRM, LMS, Enterprise Contact Center, Medical Affairs Platform, EDMS, Digital Marketing, ERP)* Serve as the subject matter expert in requirements gathering, evaluation, design, development, testing, validation, and deployment of business systems* Support the development and maintenance of technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, data management and architecture across the enterprise* Establish and maintains productive relationships with internal business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external technology vendors* Identify and implement key technology trends that can better support Arcutis business functions* Develop and implement processes to ensure seamless ongoing support for business system solutions* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to document key business processes* Author required SDLC documentation such as user requirements spec, design spec, configuration spec, functional and user acceptance test plan, training materials and cut-over plan* Drive and execute Change Control and Release Management processes for business applications* Facilitate continuous alignment with relevant regulations and internal processes, procedures, and policies (Security, Privacy, Risks Quality & Compliance, SDLC)* Other duties that may be assigned Education & Licenses and Experience * Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree (preferably Computer Science/Computer Information Systems)* At least 7 years of increasing experience and exposure working at the intersection of Biotech, Information Technology, Product Launch, and Enterprise Business Operations* A strong background in Agile software development methodology is preferred* Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, GxP Systems, GDPR, SOX and PHI) Additional Competencies & Skills * Subject matter expertise relevant to Commercialization business processes and IT landscape in support of a commercialized pharmaceutical product* Understanding of international requirements as it pertains to regulated product delivery from an IT and compliance perspective* Strong interpersonal skills and excellent presentation and communication skills* Ability to communicate complex problems in a non-technical manner to stakeholders and to effectively communicate business needs to technology teams* Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary setting, acting as a creator and facilitator to drive fulfillment of IT strategic goals* Ability to anticipate and resolve problems effectively* Commercialization solutions (EDMS, LMS, Medical and Commercial CRM, Intranet, Medical Information Database, Contact Center)* ERP solutions (Acumatica, SAP, Oracle)* Azure/AWS/Google Cloud architecture and native services* Dashboards/Reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SAS, Alteryx and Qlik* Thorough understanding of best practices in SDLC and ITIL
