Located very close to John Wayne Airport in Irvine, CA they are current seeking to hire a Senior Data Engineer who will join there Data Engineering team. If you are a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience, please read on!What You Will Be DoingWrite Python codeCreates and debugs ETL/ELT packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Pentaho, or other open-source programsCreates, debugs, and optimizes stored procedures, views, and functions.Collaborates with Data Architect and other stakeholders to understand requirements, relation between various data sets, and frequency of updates.Collaborates with team in the design and development of reports and dashboards for various business units.Maintains and updates documentation for data engineer processes and procedures.Creates proof of concept (POC) using Amazon Web Services (AWS).Implements AWS services to improve ETL/ELT efficiency and/or real time reporting.What You Need for this PositionBachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred6+ years of relevant work experience with Python, AWS, SQL, ETL and ELT technologies is strongly preferred.Experience building, designing and developing reports, dashboards, databases, OTLP and OLAP solutions.What’s In It for YouBase salary of $120k-$140k (maybe more depending on experience) + excellent benefits, PTO, 401k etc.So, If you are a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience, please apply today!Colorado employees will receive paid sick leave.
