I. Job Purpose and Core Tasks
We are looking for a highly capable Salesforce Administrator to ensure that our organization capitalizes on the benefits offered by the Salesforce CRM system. In this role, your duties will include requirement gathering, designing, developing, and testing new solutions for our global Salesforce CRM system. You should possess extensive knowledge of Salesforce system administration and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Core Tasks:
- Collecting User Requirements: Identifying, creating, and refining user stories
- Configuration: Configure and maintain Salesforce, including creating custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and approvals.
- Testing: Create test scripts, perform unit testing, end-to-end testing, and support user acceptance testing
- User Management (5%): Manage user accounts and permissions, including adding, updating, and deactivating users, and assigning and managing roles and profiles.
- Data Management: Migrate, import, and manage data within Salesforce using data loader or similar data migration tools.
- Report and Dashboard Creation: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support business operations and decision-making.
- Process Automation: Automate business processes using tools such as workflows, process builders, and flows.
- Technical Support (25%): Ensure that newly designed features, work as expected, troubleshoot/correct issues for end-users, and provide training and support for new features and functionality.
- Documentation: Document technical solutions
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the IT team and stakeholders to implement and support Salesforce solutions.
- Staying Current: Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades to the platform.
II. Minimum Knowledge, Education, and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or comparable knowledge
- Minimum 2+ years of Salesforce Administration experience.
- 2 years of relevant professional experience in the development of IT processes, business applications, and data models, and ideally on the Salesforce platform, desirable
- Salesforce certifications (Certified Administrator, Certified Platform App Builder) as well as passed Trailhead Super badges preferred
- Salesforce Trailhead ‘Expeditioner’ level (>50.000 Points) preferred
- Salesforce CPQ managed packages knowledge is preferred
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Communication skills (Written, Verbal, and Presentation) in English with the ability to interact with global team members
- Knowledge of German will be an added advantage
- Excellent team player and friendly & flexible attitude to work within a team and pay attention to guidance from extended time to time
- Ability to balance the goals of the company, while maintaining adequate controls and accurate records
