RTX: Senior Secure Systems Engineer (Sse) Subject Matter Expert

Raytheon Intelligence & Space is seeking a talented Senior Secure Systems Engineer (SSE) subject matter expert to join the Secure Systems Department.

This position is in a technical growth area and we need individuals who can apply their technical knowledge and experience to system security engineering and program protection concerns within the key areas of cybersecurity, anti-tamper, software assurance, supply chain exploitation, and threat and design vulnerability analysis.

This includes Cyber Security, Information Assurance (IA), Supply Chain Risk Management, and Anti-Tamper across several programs.

The candidate will develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of detailed analysis and investigation, ingenuity and creativity without appreciable direction.

The Senior SSE will interact with senior personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with experience in Engineering (system, software, mechanical and/or embedded), and demonstrated ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED AS SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A US SECURITY CLEARANCE AS OF DAY ONE OF EMPLOYMENT Requirements:
· Minimum of 10 years of Systems Engineering and/or equivalent Engineering experience (embedded software and/or hardware)
· Demonstrated proficiency in analytical skills
· Experience interfacing with senior program and functional management
· Ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams of system design professionals including electrical, mechanical, software and logistics engineers
· Demonstrated understanding or working knowledge with Program Protection, NIST/RMF process, Anti-Tamper, Software/Hardware Assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management
· Strong understating of the systems engineering lifecycle to include familiarity with requirements development, analysis, derivations, verification and/or validation
· ACTIVE Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain additional program-level special clearances
· U.S.

Citizen as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems Preferred:
· Experience as an Functional Security Evaluation Team (FSET) member in support of GPS approvals and/or certifications
· Experience working with the Space & Missile Systems Center,Global Positioning Satellite Directorate (SMC/GPSD) programs
· Experience with programs working with the GPU-PRD-711
· Experience with defining requirements for complex multi-processors for real-time systems
· Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Microsoft Project, requirements analysis tools (e.G., DOORS) and peer review products
· Qualified Six Sigma Specialist
· Active Top Secret clearance
· Existing SAP/SAR clearance
· Familiarity with C and PERL
· Experience with real-time operating systems
· Experience with COTS secure products Education:
· Bachelors of Science degree (BS) in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science; Advanced degree(s) preferred U.S.
