RTX: Senior Secure Systems Engineer Ii (Cryptography)

Raytheon Intelligence & Space Systems is seeking a talented Systems Security Engineer (SSE) to join the Secure Systems Department.

Our department is a technical growth area and we need individuals who can apply their technical knowledge and experience to system security engineering and program protection within the key areas of cybersecurity, anti-tamper, software assurance, supply chain exploitation, and threat and design vulnerability analysis.As a member of the System Security Engineer team, the candidate is expected to coordinate with engineers in development and design.

The SSE will exhibit a high degree of creativity and ingenuity, and will be responsible for developing advanced systems, security integrity and information assurance leveraging guidelines and concepts.*** US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED AS SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A US SECURITY CLEARANCE AS OF DAY ONE OF EMPLOYMENT ***Minimum of 5 years of progressive technical (hands-on) experience related to Design and Development in (HW/SW), Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity or Software Assurance.Experience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time Embedded security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programsExperience with Critical Program Information (CPI) Identification and development of Program Protection Implementation Plan (PPIP)Demonstrated working knowledge of secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies and guidelines.Experience with requirements development, analysis, derivations, verification and/or validationMust be able to represent security department and engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams of system design professionals including electrical, software, supply chain and logistics engineersACTIVE Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain additional program-level special clearancesPreferredFamiliarity with cryptography and cryptographic applicationsKnowledge of Program Protection Plan (PPP) required by DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 5200.39Experience in Reverse Engineering (RE)Experience in System Integrity, NSA Security design, or related fieldBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Mathematics; Advanced degree(s) preferred#SecureSystems180941Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
